Most of our fishing is done on the open water outside of Kruzof island in water depths varying 100-400 ft. Due to the geography of the region, if weather becomes a concern and conditions are not suitable for comfort we have access to many bays, straights, and sounds to fish in protected waters.

We typically Mooch for Salmon as opposed to using Downriggers. Mooching is a technique in which the angler actually works the rod and hooks the fish as opposed to waiting for the bite on hardware.

You are welcome to bring your fishing equipment, although our boats our equipped with the best tackle and gear money can buy. G. Loomis fishing rods, and Penn reels are what we provide you during your stay.
